Tournament Schedule

Group stages to be played September 30 – October 3 The 24 teams will be placed into 6 groups of 4 teams. Apart from the opening game on September 30, all group matches will be played: October 1 – games 1 (team from POT1) v 3 (team from POT3) and 2 v 4 October 2 - games 1 v 4 and 2 v 3 October 3 - games 1 v 2 and 3 v 4 3 points will be awarded for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 for a defeat. 16 teams - the top 2 teams in each group and 4 of the best 3rd placed teams will qualify for the 1/8 finals. Details concerning e. g. the order in case of equal number of points will be presented in the "tournament regulations".

After the group stage: The best 16 teams (top 2 teams in each group and 4 of the best 3rd placed) will play for places 1-16. Other 8 teams will play for places 17-24. Regarding the teams from 3rd place: 4 best teams from 3rd places will play against teams from 1st places according to the table from the next slide (depending on the teams from which groups will be promoted). The remaining 2 teams from 3rd places will play against teams from 4th places according to the table from the next slide (depending on the teams from which groups will advance).
