The Turkish national team won over Mexico in today's last match of the 1/16 final of the World Cup. Almost full stands watched the match of their favorites in the stadium in Riva.

After the last group match with Haiti, in which the Turkish national team tied, the fans expected a victory with the Mexican national team.

The players from Türkiye did not disappoint their fans, probably winning 5-0. Omer Guleryuz, who scored a hatrick, had a very good performance, Savas Kaya and Seyhmus Erdinc added one goal each.

Tomorrow the Turks will play against Morocco in the quarter-finals, the match will be held at the stadium in Riva at 20:00.
